Harborside Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge, located inside the Hotel Bellwether, is ready to assist with planning your next function. We can professionally cater to your special requirements.

Food and Beverage

Menu selections should be finalized 30 days prior to any event. All food and beverage is subject to a service charge of 18% and Washington State Sales Tax. Washington State Law requires that the service charge be taxed. Service Charge and Washington Sales Tax are subject to change without notice. The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Washington State Liquor Control Board. As a Licensee it is Harborside Catering's policy that liquor or food cannot be brought into or removed from the facility.

Deposits and Payments

An advance deposit is due at the time of booking all events and is based on food and beverage estimated revenue. Deposits and payments may be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card. A valid credit card number is required and will be held on file for all events. Unless otherwise specified, this credit card will be charged at the end of the event for the total amount owed. Harborside Catering does not invoice or accept purchase orders. Payment must be accepted as one lump sum, guests may not pay individually. Any overpayment will be refunded immediately following the event.

Guest Count Guarantees

A guarantee of the number of guests attending the event is required seven (7) business days prior to the event. The Client will be billed for the guaranteed number of guests or the actual number of guests served, whichever is greater. If no number is communicated to Harborside Catering, the Client agrees to pay for the original estimated number or the actual number of guests served, whichever is greater. The guaranteed number of guests may be lower than the estimated number of guests provided Harborside Catering receives the guaranteed number of guests by the guarantee due date. The guaranteed number of guests may not be reduced after the guarantee due date. Dietary substitutions must be requested by the guarantee due date.

Included in Facility Fees/Food and Beverage Minimum

Set-up, clean-up and tear-down of room, professional and attentive staff, beautiful glassware and white china, white table linens (underlay, overlay and napkins), and set up of any other tables Harborside Catering offers including six (6) foot, eight (8) foot, cocktail tables, etc. Votive candles are also available upon request. Details of room setup must be received seven (7) business days prior to event.

Event Cancellation Policy.

To compensate for lost revenues resulting from cancellation of your event, you agree to pay Harborside Catering Liquidated Damages according to the schedule below.

30 days prior to event 50% of Estimated Revenue or of Food and Beverage Minimum (whichever is greater)
15 days prior to event 100% of Estimated Revenue or of Food and Beverage Minimum (whichever is greater)

Harborside Catering agrees that, after receipt of Liquidated Damages per the above schedule, it will not seek additional damages. Any and all advance payments held by Harborside Catering, including required deposit, are non-refundable and will be applied toward Liquidated Damages due as a result of cancellation. An invoice will be sent to you at the time of cancellation for Liquidated Damages due.
